I was already familiar with Splunk logs but had barely scratched the surface of observability metrics. So I decided to challenge myself with the SPLK-4001 exam. I started with basics, understanding metric time series, dashboards, and detectors.

What helped the most? Practice tests that gave me the chance to apply SPL in realistic use cases. After a few rounds, the tricky stuff didn’t feel so tricky anymore!

Just got through the Splunk SOAR Certified Automation Developer exam, and it was a solid ride! The material gets deep into building and managing automated response workflows. I kept revisiting scenario-driven SPLK-2003 practice tests, which helped me fine-tune my logic and approach. Without that repetition, I wouldn't have been nearly as confident going in.
